Ordered 10 days' trial tingkat order from Lexin Catering. Initial order with the customer service was a breeze. However, the nightmare started after the trial was over.
Due to my oversight, the trial order will auto-renewed unless you cancel the order 3 days before the last date of the trial order.
I did not know it was renewed until Lexin sent an invoice (on a Saturday after office hour which I was not able to contact anyone) to bill me for another month of tingkat. Tried to explain to them but they simply said they have indicated in their invoice to cancel the order 3 days before the end date. They could "help" me by sending in another 3 days' of food and they will terminate the order.
My explanation was I did not notice the terms printed (who will refer the invoice printed 10 days ago). Anyway, I paid for another 3 days' of order with $10 admin fee to end this case.
To Lexin Catering:
It will be good if you could send the invoice for new order 3 days before the end date of the current order to remind your customer that this is auto-renewed. Rather than sending in after office hour and your customer has to worry until Monday.
My impression is they are trying to earn money through customer's oversight. $10 admin fee (excluding the money for the order) per forgetful customer.
10 forgetful customers = $100
100 forgetful customers = $1,000
Easy money for them.
